I am opposed to the development of a Childcare centre at 6 Youngs Road, as I believe it poses a traffic hazard to surrounding properties, which is already a current problem- Yan Yean Road already carries heavy traffic to and from the heavily populated housing estates in Doreen and nearby Mernda. I regularly visit friends who live in Youngs Road and a nearby Court and feel that this proposed development will not only hinder my journey with increased traffic, but will destroy the idyllic surrounds which provide my friends with a peaceful and 'country living' feel.
Please reject this proposal and consider the residents who reside adjacent to the site, as this will greatly affect them.
