- The proposal is to operate a distillery and manage logistics (only for product made on site) for dispatch to wholesalers/retailers. The distillery is forecasting to make 1,200 litres of bottled spirit per month or approximately 60 litres. Our operating hours are Mon-Fri 8am-5pm. There will be 3-4 staff max. On site in normal hours. There is 7 car parking spaces within the property gates, so ample off street parking available. No noise will be heard outside the distillery and no smells emanate from the site. While there has been no pre-application meeting, I have spoken with two staff from the planning department regarding this site – namely, Shannon on 8 Nov 2024 and Paul on 13 Nov 24.
