Is this a mature native tree? If so, I object to its removal. Too many character trees in this neighbourhood are being cut down. In a rapidly warming climate and in the historic garden Cable Station precinct , we should be preserving what is left of our trees. If people want to come into this area to live, they must respect our cherished environment and not destroy it.
