I object to removal of all 18 trees. Surely that is not allowed as it will adversely impact the environment.

I agree with this comment:-
As a neighbour to DA 2025/0211 - the removal of 18 trees is environmentally harmful - the local rainbow lorikeets, kookaburras, Bush turkeys & various other species of birds unfortunately will be homeless when these trees are cut down.
I'm a millenial renter in Drummoyne. Any opportunity to own property here, especially for anyone my age or younger is a fantastic opportunity. The community should do everything it can to support young people.
The removal of 18 trees is absolutely ridiculous & will create a notable negative impact to the area & surrounding wildlife. Adding another concrete jungle to such a beautiful place will not be beneficial to the historical feel of this area & feels like a money grab.
Totally understand the concern about trees 🌳
Just worth noting that any Low & Mid-Rise proposal (like this one) has to meet the NSW tree canopy guidelines. They were brought in specifically by the State for developments using the new density reforms, to make sure we don’t lose trees as we add more homes that we so desperately need across our beautiful city :)
This proposal delivers ~30.6% tree canopy coverage and the landscape plan looks great, so the end result is actually more greenery overall.
I love seeing this in my own neighbourhood— more homes and more greenery !!!!
I support this development since Sydney doesn’t have enough homes to satisfy demand, and these would be very well-located and high-amenity ones. For example, the new homes would be close to shops, public transport and the harbour, and it’s only a short commute into the city from here. I’m sure people will love living here. Please allow it to proceed.
