Croydon Conservation Society objects to this application based on quality of living afforded the residents. There will be absolutely no space for trees, or greenery of substance, not including any grass.
Units will be so close most windows will need to be frosted for privacy.
The amount of hard standing material on site will become a heatsink, radiating heat to surrounding neighbours overnight.
The units will have little opportunity to cool other than using A/C for the residents, and added expense to the cost of living.
There is no room for canopy trees within this site, and it generally will afford a poor quality of life for residents.
Nine units amongst an area that generally has four per block is unimaginable for quality of life and most certainly the local living environment.
