Around Sydney and in other cities in Australia, off-street clustered mobile food trading proposals similar to the Applicant's proposal are making exciting and positive contributions to suburban revitalisation despite communities facing a challenging economy.
Some plan may be needed for traffic management which I think can be easily achieved by collaboration between Council, consultants and the Applicant, but I doubt that the increased traffic that this use generates would be fatal to it being an appropriate planning outcome.
Overall, the Proposal is one positively responding to the relevant planning matters and should be supported.
