Lets hope the two trees are not mature canopy trees that provide shade and habitat. Maroondah is trying to maintain above 30% cover across the municipality to ensure good quality living.
If they are large trees we hope that a sensitive arborist has designated the trees to be sick or dangerous.
Croydon Conservation Society in general opposes tree removal without very good reason.
