Re development PA2026/0138 (6 Tuckeroo Zuccoli NT)
I have lived near to this proposed development site for nearly 8 years and have seen many pink signs.
I have/had a couple of concerns:
1. Boundary fencing adjoining Zuccoli Parade – on reviewing the current proposal I can see this is addressed by using 1.8m colorbond boundary fencing like other developments in Zuccoli.
2. Parking 21 x 2 car spaces (42 spaces). I see on the drawing mock ups cars in carports and a car out the front of one. Land area approx 6100 square metres. Whilst this complies with requirement, my experience in Zuccoli is bedrooms equals cars. Most streets have cars on the footpaths and the street. I live in Moth Court, the other side of Zuccoli Parade. Eight houses average 600 square metre blocks 7 x 4 bedroom and 1 x 5 bedroom homes ie. 33 bedrooms 4800 square metre area plus street. Cars in this street 27 – each house has a double garage and driveway parking and still we have overspill.
3. I feel the site needs at least 4 visitor parking spaces on site as there is no street parking for visitors available due to Tuckeroo being main access in/out of Mitchell Creek Green.
I feel it is the time to get this development done.
Yours sincerely
