Why is this breeding facility required? What breed is going to be bred here? Is the breeder a legitimate ANKC registered breeder that will show the dogs and breed them to that dogs breed standard? Will the dogs be health tested (hips, elbows, heart, eyes). Will the dogs also be pets and treated appropriately or will they be cross breed money making machines kept in kennels under a DACO number? I oppose this application.

My only concern would be what type of breed, noise and weather kenneled off or free to roam the property … obviously a big difference between breeding German Shepards free to roam outside and chihuahuas inside … I am familiar with this site so aware that a large fence has gone up … also I do not hear any barking atm … but as claim is retrospective I have concerns that our currently relatively silent location won’t remain so… I am wondering if what is at this location presently is pregnant dogs about to give birth and we may be subject to much noise soon. At present many neighbors have dogs but I seldom hear barking- thus there is a slight concern re the size of this operation… presently dogs are quiet - will there be many new dogs? Will this start a “ bark off?” . Also size of dog is relevant as there is a children’s park right opposite this location. obviously larger dogs have more chance of jumping fences and becoming an issue… and if the breed is vivacious this could stress young children. I am assuming this operation is either about to start up fully/begun as retrospective approval is sought? But how much will it expand? How “ barky” will it become? Many questions….. however , if this operation has been at full “ production “ - this approval is just a formality to make the status quo legal , and , it is not expanding I don’t oppose it . If however, there will be more dogs , more noise , and the breeds are known to be boisterous I do have concerns … cheers
