I support the application for the construction of 7 dwellings in this location. However I believe that on site dedicated parking must accompany the development. Parking availability is already constrained in this location and further congestion will certainly result without dedicated parking.

I don’t object to developing the site but the number of dwellings should support corresponding private parking spaces for residents. The on street parking situation in the area is already at capacity.

Have to agree with Mark’s comment above. Whilst I am generally happy with the application, parking constraints in the area are already at breaking point without 7 new dwellings with no off street parking provision.

Potentially, we could be looking at 10+ additional cars competing for spaces in the surrounding streets, particularly Park and Manning streets.

The development of this site with 7 dwellings is welcomed. However, it is essential that there is off street parking included for each dwelling. It is already very difficult to find a car space on Park and Oxford Streets, hence, the need for including off street parking as part of the development.
