I do hope that this is not an attempt to bring pokies or tote to the club. Comments are going to the gambling commission. We do not need our youth being exposed to more gambling risks.

We object to Koonung Cricket Club's Liquor Licence variation 38032A06 which includes:
We object to the removal of special conditions which proposes changes to both internal and external trading hours such as
trading of alcohol and consumption on: -
Tuesdays from 6pm until 10pm.
Thursdays from 6pm until 11pm.
Fridays from 5pm until 8.00pm.
Saturdays from 1pm until 11pm.
Sundays from 1pm until 8.00pm.

We object to Koonung Cricket Club increasing the Red Line Plan to include all of the new pavilion to allow pre-booked functions on the premises.

We object to point of sale of alcohol at sporting events around the grounds in Greythorn Park. We object to bars being set up around the grounds within the park. Serving from the pavilion window is sufficient.

Koonung Cricket Club must put up a Public Notice from 8th August until 5th September 2026 notifying the local community about these proposed changes.

If you wish to object you must do so before 5th September 2026 to www.vic.gov.au/object-liquor-licence-application
