Please Approve this project. The community has a long waited this project to commence. We encourage council to pass this plan promptly for the community. We also agree to this small increase in height to make the building fit in with the amenity of the new area and to serve all residence of Catherine Hill Bay with this quality building. There is plenty of street parking and the majority of us will simply walk to the shop and the coffee shop.

I strongly support this DA proposal for the community café at Catherine Hill Bay.

This is a project that our community has been waiting a long time to see come to life, and I believe it would be a wonderful addition to the area. A local café and community space would provide residents with somewhere to meet, connect and enjoy, while also creating a valuable amenity for families and visitors.

I also support the proposed minor increase in height, as I believe it is reasonable and will allow the building to function effectively while still fitting in with the character and amenity of the surrounding area.

With plenty of street parking available and many local residents within walking distance, I believe the café can be a positive and much-needed addition to Catherine Hill Bay.

I encourage Council to approve the proposal and allow this long-awaited community project to move forward.

I fully support this proposal after living here for three years, having been sold the block with the assurance of a retail precinct in the plans for the estate. I implore the council to act promptly in the approval process. The community desperately needs and deserves this.

I would like to express my wholehearted support for the proposed community café at Catherine Hill Bay.

This is something I, and many others in the community, have been hoping to see happen for a very long time. It has the potential to create a much-needed place for locals to come together, enjoy the area and connect with one another, while also providing a welcoming space for visitors and families.

I believe the proposed development is well suited to Catherine Hill Bay and will be a positive addition to our community. I also support the minor variation in building height, which I consider reasonable and necessary to enable the project to be delivered in a practical and functional way without detracting from the character of the area.

With local residents able to access the café on foot, together with the availability of nearby street parking, I believe this proposal is both appropriate and beneficial for the community.

After waiting so long to see this project progress, I strongly encourage Council to approve the Development Application and, where possible, expedite the approval process so this long-awaited community asset can finally move forward.

I, along with many of the residents would welcome this piece of infrastructure to be completed as promised to all of the purchasers of property within our town within the last 10 years. Having a shop made available for all the residents of Catherine Hill Bay would be the last part needed to make this great town able to become a NEIGHBOURHOOD CENTRE in keeping with the description portrayed in Lake Macquarie City Councils outlook.
( Council describes a centre as being "well-serviced, with shops and public transport making them ideal locations for people to live and access their daily needs" ).

Discussions have been held between residents, council and the developer over many years and now it seems like it may come to eventuate. We would like to be a part of one of LMCCs' neighbourhood centres.

We call on council to allow this to happen so our town can be.

I am very excited for this to be built! We are a young family who have constructed a family home in Catherine Hill and the delivery of shops is a key piece of infrastructure which will keep us in the area. The shop/facility will also attract/supply visitors to CHB who currently have very limited options. This will be a huge benefit to the entire community and i encourage the planning team to approve its construction.
