151 Cabramatta Rde Cabramatta, NSW
Construction of a 19 Storey Mixed Use Development (PAN-333433)

I object to the 3 x 19 story buildings proposed. The streets that surround the proposed buildings (Fisher, Cumberland, Broomfield, Longfield) are full during the day by cars being parked by rail commuters and residents of those streets. During the night, residents in these surrounding streets park cars as the older style flats have small garages where modern day larger cars won't fit. This development will only add to the scarce parking spots in neighbouring streets. Residents of the proposed development will be forced to park in neighbouring streets if they have more than 1 vehicle per unit. This proposed development will cause an increase of traffic in local streets and a parking nightmare. I object to this development.

Demolition of Garage, Awning & Shed. Construction of a Detached Single

Awful that this was passed through for development! This is happening far to often now.. To squeeze another dwelling into this tight space is ludicrous.. Clearly money talks within councils.. What is happening in Sydney developments these days is atrocious. What kind of environment are you building for future generations!? It’s a disgrace - Sydney has lost its soul, becoming an overcrowded concrete jungle of ugly developments. Absolutely shameful.

Demolition and Consruction of Seniors Housing Development (PAN-55650)

The street is far to small for this kind of development and will also devalue sounding property’s unless the developers would like to make an offer to sounding Residence.
Build something on mass scale like this also Interferes with people’s privacy.

5-Storey Boarding House Comprising 47 Rooms

We are writing to express our support for the recent development application RE: Application No. 317.1/2019 submitted to council at 102 Broomfield Street, Cabramatta NSW 2166.

The demographic of associations such as ours are committed to create an inclusive community by upholding the Australian values and way of life.

The Cabramatta community and some of our members require support from the Australian government to receive the provisions they need to live but also the community to receive a sense of belonging and to boost their mental spirit through unity. We believe that there is a need for affordable housing in our LGA amongst members of our association alone where the residents have access to shops by foot as many of them are older and can not afford or operate a vehicle. We would like to encourage these projects to create new, safe and affordable housing for our members.

We believe that not enough is being done in the local area to encourage affordable housing despite the government claiming to address it. The price of a residential unit in the Fairfield LGA is still out of reach for many people in our community and the rend being relative to the price, does not include ongoing living costs such as electricity, water and other utilities.

We believe that a development which has affordable short-term leasing options, as opposed to a traditional lease, coupled with being in close proximity to transport and shops should not only be encouraged but seen as a safe, monitored and inclusive environment for the range of demographics in Cabramatta. We would like to urge council to consider the amount of older people who do not drive, promoting the use of the overhead bridge across the station, and promoting the use of public transport.

Being across the railway station, car parking provisions as well as being surrounded by employment hubs, we believe that a boarding house development would be beneficial for numerous people who require clean and affordable living arrangements.

12 Morrissey Pl Horsley Park
Construction of a Two Storey Dwelling with Attached Garages, Breezeway

The height and location of this dwelling will block the morning sun from our property (until around 12pm) and it will also obstruct the view from our block, which was the reason why we purchased this lot. Can the home be reversed / flipped so that the double story section of the home is on the lower side of the block. This wouldn't help with the sun entirely but it would be a good start.

Demolition, Subdivision & Construction of Two Semi-Detached Dwellings

I don't have any issues with dual occupancy developments, however with all the duplex's and triplex's in our street the parking situation is becoming alarming.

Even though each duplex etc allows for a garage and parking in the driveway for each unit the trend is that each occupant is not parking in the driveway they are parking in front of the houses that still have frontages.

Eventually there will be no parking available.

Council needs to include into each development more consideration for off street parking allocation.

From our experience there should be parking for at least 3 cars per duplex/triplex.
