As such, the proposal will utilise the same established hardstand/pad and operational area, avoiding the need for additional land disturbance. The site is well suited to the proposed use due to: • Existing landfill and waste processing operations • Established use of the area for rock crushing and stockpiling • Separation from sensitive land uses • Existing heavy vehicle access arrangements • Availability of appropriate infrastructure for material handling The use of this existing operational area represents an efficient and logical extension of current activities within the landfill precinct.
