I am submitting an application for the proposed use of 22 David Street, Richmond VIC 3121 as a self-service laundromat. The proposal includes the installation of card-operated, commercial-grade washing machines and dryers, allowing customers to complete their laundry independently in a clean, safe, and accessible environment. The proposed operating hours are 6:00 am to 11:00 pm, seven days a week. All equipment has been selected for quiet operation to minimise potential noise impacts on surrounding properties. The premises will be well-lit, ventilated, and maintained in accordance with relevant health, safety, and environmental requirements. Limited external building works are proposed, including the installation of louvre-style vents to the building wall, in addition to an internal fit-out.
