Proposed amendments: Partial demolition and construction of a carport on land affected by a Heritage Overlay Proposed amendments:1) Width of carport has been reduced to comply with fire regulations and in consideration of Regulation 80 of the Building Regulations 2018 (Victoria, Australia). Carport is now 800mm from the boundary and Report and Consent has been received from council with regard to Regulation 80. 2) Façade of the carport has been altered due to the reduction in width: • Door between carport roller door and the house has been removed • A gate has been added to allow side access between the carport and the property boundary 3) Carport roof pitch increased from 2 degrees to 5 degrees on advice from builders. Change is behind the façade and will not be visible from street 4) Landscaping strip removed due to pathway required down the side of the carport 5) Existing drain replaced with channel drain across the front of the carport 6) Timber and cement sheet façade has been changed to a rendered brick façade to match the house and more in keeping with the heritage character of the house
